Rainy Season Comes as Summer Ends

Rainy season is now coming in our country as summer season has ended. We are thankful of the rain due to the long heat and drought that we experienced. Plus the existence of El Niño conditions that linger throughout summer season.
But, if rainy season arrives, then we expect the La Niña conditions to develop also. This means rainfall could trend to be above average in some areas and could be excessive in other areas. More tropical storms, typhoons and super typhoons are being forecast. I just hope we are all prepared and can handle whatever natural calamities may occur. God bless the Philippines!

I hate to think of the typhoons that are on the way, for now i would like to enjoy the first rain first and the relief it brings, from the heat, for the crops and livestock.

I pray that you are spared any storms that could happen. We have our fair share of storms, but nothing in comparison to a typhoon.

Too much rain can harm too.
For me here I just hope the rain can stop, little outdoor activty.

Oh, we have similar language about rain. We call rain in our language as Ulan too. Thanks for creating a poem out of my discussion. That's nice.

Rains come almost daily now. It makes the temperatures cool but in some low-lying areas, it could be flooded. And we wish the storms will not be so devastating like in the past years.
