Who acted in the role of Mark Anthony the best?

The historical character Mark Anthony had been a hot role for many great actors. Especially the pulpit scene of Shakespeare's The Julius Caeser was a landmark scene for many actors. Charlton Heston did a great job in film Julius Caeser in 1950, Marlon Brando did a great job in Julius Caeser in 1953, Richard Burton in Cleopatra in 1963. Probably viewers liked Richard Burton's performance a lot because it was a colour film and Elizabeth Taylor performance was balanced by Richard Burton's performance. Many feel Anthony was a great speaker and whichever actor brought the best expression won the hearts of million viewers.

Thanks Rossi for the comments. Claude Rains also did a great job. I loved his acting in Caeser and Cleopatra.

@JohnRoberts Thanks John, in the film Cleopatra, Elizabeth Taylor played the role of Cleopatra opposite Richard Burton.

I have to go with Richard Burton who was a great underrated actor well schooled in Shakespeare.

Thanks John, yes I loved Mark Anthony by Richard Burton. He was smart, handsome and elegant opposite Liz Taylor.

I have always thought Richard Burton was the best Mark Anthony but I guess everyone has their own opinion.
