Product Description: Lasagna pasta "rolled" into squares with a blend of cheeses inside. this product is available for purchase through Schwan's Home Delivery service for $8.99. Review: My wife actually made this purchase a couple weeks ago, when Schwan's stopped by for their monthly visit and we actually had some money we were willing to spend on it. We ended up having them for dinner last night and, while they weren't bad, I'm not sure they were worth the money. There were a couple things I did like about this product. For one, they did have a decent taste, especially with that blend of cheeses inside of them. I also thought the lasagna roll ups were very filling. My wife and I figured we would end up eating all four of them and, because of that, made the kids something else to eat. However, we were both full after just one each. I think my biggest disappointment with this product was the fact it didn't come with the sauce, we had to add that separately. To be fair, that is mentioned on their product description. But, if you don't read all the way to the bottom, you wouldn't know that by the picture they show in the catalog (which has these roll ups with sauce on them). I'm also not convinced these were worth our money. While $8.99 isn't the most expensive price I've seen, it does seem a bit steep for what was basically enough for one meal (with a serving or so of leftovers) and wasn't even the full meal. In other words, while these were good. I'm not sure it is an item we would purchase again unless they were on sale.

I am too frugal to purchase pre-made food. Because I love to cook I would make something like that and freeze it. Lasagna is so large a dish to make that it is too much for just my husband and I. So I make it into 3 smaller dishes and freeze two.

it will probably cost less if you cook it at home..?

Probably. I'm OK with spending more for the convenience (we don't always have time to make dinner from scratch). But, I think there needs to be more quantity to justify the price.

for first time sellers here, it usually is the case -- more quantity i mean. if not, it's got to be the best..
