Following up a tidbit of celebrity news about Alanis Morissette, shared back in Aug 2015. Was hoping to find info about her concerts or a new album, etc.. Instead the media reports that she's currently suing her manager for stealing her savings; and being a “fairy godmother” to Justin Bieber, what with the two of them being Canadians and all.

You may think: 'Why don't you check the official website or her tweets?'
Tried that. Ms. Morissette is a very talented singer/songwriter. But she strikes me as kind of weird and strange. Navigating her website and/or tweets aren't so simple!
No insult intended to Ms. Morissette. My personality is a little weird and strange too!

Honestly! Life without cable or satellite TV is proving to be hit or miss as far as staying informed. Not really. But it does seem like my “breaking news...

She always was a bit odd. Basically a one hit album wonder.

Yeah. I always thought she was kind of “nutty”, in a wacky fruit nut sort of way. But I'll bet she was a student who got good grades in high school. Especially in her English class. I don't know. It's just the way she writes her songs makes me think she probably got good grades. For some reason she reminds me of some of my high school friends. Smart but weird. Not like my friends at the university. My university friends were sober and seirous-minded and always thought they were going to be the ones who had the right plan to change the world. 40 years later and the world still sucks! Nobody changed anything. But you couldn't tell them that … at the time.

My husband taped one of her shows and you're right!
