Things to Do by Yourself when You're Single

I would like to write a blog post about ways to have fun when you're not in a relationship. One of my favorites is to play pool league, because it gives me a chance to be social without feeling like a 3rd wheel for not being in a couple. How about you? What's your favorite "single" thing to do?

When I was single, I spent a great deal of time doing the same things I would if I were in a relationship. I think the most important thing to do is to continue living your life the way you want to. Do the things you love, regardless of who is there or not. Experience new things. I don't think being single defines the things you enjoy. :)

I appreciate your answer, but my post is not about staying true to yourself. It's more about giving single people ideas of things to do so they can be happy whether in a relationship or not.

@lexinonomous thank you! Your suggestions are awesome ones :-) I was looking for concrete suggestions simply because people might be looking for something new to do, or are newly single and don't know what to do with themselves.

@ChildofGod81 I understand what your post is about. My suggestion is that people continue to do the things that they love, since there's no single manual on what single people can like or dislike. As for solid suggestions, I enjoy writing music. Writing music is a good way to give yourself a creative outlet. Also, going to open mic nights is a nice way to socialize.

I am in a relationship but sometimes I feel single because my boyfriend is too far from me. I just enjoy a lot of me time by discovering myself more. I make friends with a lot of people online and reflect on my talent and skills.

@shubhu3 not a big romantic comedy Fan, but I love comedy and action movies. My favorite movie is Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy

@ChildofGod81 I live near the canal and it is rather green, most relaxing. My mate has hay fever and doesn't do the canal walks much in summer
