Summer Fun in Ohio!

I was wondering what (if any) amusement parks myLotters plan to attend this summer. I am fortunate to live five minutes away from Cedar Point in Ohio and plan to visit a lot this year if possible. We bought season passes last year and again this year. My (then 8, now 9 year old) daughter was absolutely terrified of the smallest and tamest roller coasters last June and had a few meltdowns while riding them, but by the end of July, she had ridden (and LOVED) all of the big coasters at Cedar Point! We have been there a few times already, but have yet to ride the new Valravn ride that just opened this year. The lines have just been a little bit too long so far. Our season passes allow for free parking and free admission to ANY of Cedar Point's sister parks, so we will likely try to go to Kings Island in Cincinnati and we also hope to travel to Dorney Park in Pennsylvania this summer. Our passes also came with a meal plan and special souvenir cups = up to two free meals a day for each of us (as long as they are purchased at least 4 hours apart) and unlimited free refills on soft drinks with no restrictions. So we can basically go over anytime and not necessarily have to spend a penny! One day earlier this week, my wife had some evening commitments and I didn't have a plan of what to do for dinner with my daughter. So we hopped in the car, drove over to the park, and used our passes to get dinner for free at one of the restaurants on the meal plan! Last year, we often went over during the week after work for a few hours at a time. This is only possible because we live so close - we are so lucky for that. What parks are you closest to or where do you plan to travel to this summer yourselves?

We have a Town Park nearby. Then there is a Lake too. But we often visit the park. There are rides but not like carnival ones. Just small and tamer rides for kids. Restaurant is there too.

That sounds like a fun way to spend the summer. We don't live near anything like that. Our holiday was 3 weeks skiing in the mountains. We will do a bit of camping for the summer
