Almost Time for Our Library's Summer Reading Program

This is something my daughters have been doing for a few years now and I think it's a great program.
All they have to do is read so many minutes per week (which they do anyway) and bring their log to the library at the end of the week. They are then given prizes that include free dinner at our local Italian restaurant, a coupon for bowling and free books.
I know the girls are looking forward to it when it starts in two weeks.

That is great! Reading is a very important skill every body needs to acquire. I dream of same thing in our city. I hope it will be the city project too in our place anf may they be generous enough to give incentives to the schools or the kids who will go to the library to read. May it have also friendly staff.

We have that atour city library and the elementary as well. It's gonna be a great summer of reading and fun.
