Different tiles in swimming pool of Uday Samudra.

In the Uday Samudra Resort in Covalam, Kerala, they had made the child section of swimming pool and the adult section with different coloured tiles. The swimming pool for children and adults are segregated. It is because, children who had just learned swimming and are begginners like to swim in shallow waters. The children section has dark blue tiles, while the adult section which is around 5 feet deep has light blue tiles. The water is purified and well maintained. Those who visit the resort, enjoy the swimming pools.

That's a very good idea. It reinforces the child to believe their section of water is safer.

Thanks Nar2, yes the tiles give a warning to the children not to venture into the adult section which is deeper.

Thanks Marcyaz, actually the difference of tiles warns the beginners not to venture into the deeper part of the swimming pool.
