Precious Sleep

When I was a little girl, I hate being told that it’s bed time. When I was in college, I swear I can function even with a couple of hours’ sleep after a night of studying and playing video games. Now that I am older, I will not be in my best if I had less than 6 hours of sleep. On Tuesday night, I had a late start on my chores. After work, I have a couple of hours to make dinner and other stuff before I go to my Zumba class. Unfortunately, I spent most of my “free time” chatting with a friend while making dinner so I was not able to do much before Zumba. There is no way that I cannot not go since all the classes for the month has been paid for (which is a big motivation for me to actually workout). Right after class, we had dinner, and I started doing my chores. I also have to start some paperwork which took some time. I ended up sleeping so late that I think I only had 4 hours of sleep. At work, I have the most hideous headache. I have taken 2 Advil and it is still throbbing. It toned down to a more annoying pain rather than a debilitating one, but I know I have no one else to blame but myself. And to make it worse, my skin suffered as well. I have zits sprouting and all because of one night of disrupted sleep. How I wish I was not rebellious against being put to bed when I was younger. Had I known I will be craving lots of it now, I would have taken more while I still can.

Yeah many a times it happens indirectly as well. When I have my exams I hardly get any sleep and it actually creates pain in my body and I feel hell tired.

The problem is that we can NOT store sleep way in advance.
