A Little Park Opening Around The Corner

I just went out to a little park opening just around the corner from our house.
I received a flyer in the mailbox during the week that they would have BBQ hamburgers and hot dogs.
So I decided to pick up 2 of each for lunch.
I was looking forward to it but unfortunately, the burger was too well done. The hot dog was all right though.
Boy, it was so hot just walking to that spot, I was very happy to come back home with the cold air on.

Bummer they burger was too well done. I guess they're in a rush! But it's nice you went out to support the new park opening.

It´s a very good way to let neighbor know abot a new park. I wish they do the same here in my city.

@marlina My city is going to have its own constitution next month. I would probably propose it. The proposals for the new constitution start on June 5th.

That's nice they opened up but sucks the food wasn't how you would have liked it. Hopefully next time it will be better and more enjoyable.

are you complaining or just relaying a story? the burger was too well done, it was free so im not sure they were asking individuals how you want your burgers? i like my burgers cooked until it is not pink inside, as long as the outside isn't too burned im ok.

i reckon a free meal's a free meal, eh? perhaps ya could take that o'erdone hamburger 'n mashed't'p, turn such into 'nother dish?

Just across the street from our house is a wide playground. It is getting crowded day after day. I wish cars should slow down before something happen horrible. Kids are crossing the street carelessly to pick up balls. I wonder why the city is not imposing a 30 km maximum speed limit.
