Congratulations to Real Madrid for having won the European Champions League against their Spanish derby nemesis Athletico Madrid. Before the outcome, there were a lot of speculations as to who would emerge the eventual winners where even outcomes from sporting favorites were swinging either way. For the favorites Real Madrid, the hesitation is not surprising since the club had undergone some major changes with the main one being the arrival of their former player as their coach and manager - Zidane. Their opponent regarded as underdogs throughout has rose in stature with impressive results both at home and the international scene. One can even consider their Champions League to be similar to the fairy tales. But with the event being a rather major one, fans are hesitant that the team would choke at such a major appearance and ending the fairy tale for them. Surprisingly, the match was evenly contested with the underdogs bringing the game to their nemesis. Sadly their forward Klinsmann just wasn't performing missing so many good sitters to swing the outcome to his team. It was just frustrating watching him being so extravagant on this crucial match. So, I supposed it is fair to say that the match was going towards a foregone conclusion to Real Madrid. The match ended in a draw 1-1 even after extra time and then 6-4 after the mandatory penalty shootout with C. Ronaldo taking the kick ending Athletico Madrid's fairy tale. Congratulations, to Real Madrid!! Video feed:

Don't follow football. In fact, don't follow football American that much any more either. Watching the Warriors-Thunder (basketball) game, but have to play a gig tonight. Better head out.
