What'd you all think of "V for Vendetta"?

The movie "V for Vendetta" was undoubtedly one of the best movies of 2005. Action packed with the directing of the Wachowski Brothers and as eloquent as a Shakesperean play. It was such an incredible mix of action, politics, conspiracy, and philosophy. It was the first movie that I actually went on to buy in a long time.

I hated V for Vendetta but I love the Brak Show and Space Ghost. My fiance and I had a praying mantis as a pet when we lived in California, and his name (of course) was Zorak.

Well, it sucks that you hated the movie, but yes, Space Ghost was also another one of the most incredible things to happen to this world since... swiss cheese.

I think it was a great eye opener. It shows how easily the people can be manipulated, and how powerful of a political tool fear is. The thing is, there's nothing "original" about this fantastic movie, for it is simply depicting many things that have happened in history, or that are happening, or that simply quite easily could happen.

yes V for Vendetta, is yet another movie that really pleased me...its got powerful script and an equally powerful screnplay and dialogues that one really thinks he is amidst a shakespearan play, but all essentially, its a movie that carries a moral, and we ve to perceive it...

I totally agree. That movie was great. It really made me say "Wow this movie was incredible." It is Oscar worthy. I think it made an impact. And not just in the box office. Hahhahaha

The political aspect was one of the greatest aspects of the movie, but that's what makes it great... there were so many other great aspects.

How true was it? Guy Fawkes is true, but the rest of the story was fictional.
