Usually after the New years we had a lot of this empty tins, now we used to keep it and sell to recycle shop. If you are walking outside and see an empty tin, will you pick it or just ignore it ? If you are drinking in a cafe shop, will you bring alone this empty tin ?

I don't pick any up, but I do recycle at home. At a cafe or restaurant I won't bring them home.

@Chungshop Yes one won't make a difference but if I'm say, not done drinking with it and there's still a lot left I'll bring it on the go and drink it do then it's brought home with me, lol. But not intenationally just because I don't want to waste money.

Empty biscuit, cookie, or cake tins are collectable and some do have a great deal of value. What you are showing in your picture is not a tin, it is a can and has little or no value. Here in the west we are not paid for the things we recycle, but recycle is what everyone does with them.

@Chungshop They won't give you money for ones you didn't buy here. People from other provinces have tried to bring cans to Alberta for the refund money. But since they didn't pay a deposit, they can't get a refund.

When we buy beverages, even milk we pay a deposit. So we keep them all and return them to the bottle depot to get our deposit back. If I see one on the ground when I am walking or cycling I pick them up and add to ours. But that is not many as we live far out of town.

How much you sell those? In Philippines mostly leave their cans on trash then some kids will get those cans to sell it.
