Have you ever done this?

Regardless of what age, did you ever get a piece of paper and draw out your dream home? I know I used to that all the time when I was a child.
I'd dream up what I wanted my dream house to look like, and there were always plenty of play rooms! As I got older the playrooms became less about me and more about future kids. the "Cinderella" effect so to speak.
Even now, I'll sometimes go on websites and look at houses just for the fun of it. I'll look at what others have done and either say "Oh I love this" or "I'd do this differently."
There are so many more innovative ways to organize space now than there was even ten years ago. Not only that but the idea of what a "house" is has changed. I've seen a lot of shipping container's being turned into homes, old busses being turn into homes, and homes being built on trailer's.
I think, if I were to make a home, I'd use tractor trailer's that only shipped things like food product. Something that I wouldn't have to worry about chemical residue. I'd stack one on top of the other, and maybe a third level being only half the size of the first two.
I'd have a sleek design, a kitchen that flows seamlessly into a dining area. I'd have to have a deck of sorts for the outside. I'd want things in black and whites but with plenty of window space.
That is my "recycled" dream. Otherwise I would have a house built in the style of a cabin, with a loft style bedroom (but a proper staircase and not a ladder set up) I'd have plenty of stone to break up the wood. I'd also have plenty of sky lighting. It would not necessarily have to be set back in the woods, I think I'd rather have my cabin near a lake.
Anyway, all of this came about after listening to a podcast from a youtuber who was discussing his own renovations and his reasons for the passion of making his space his own.
What do you think you'd have for your own dream home? Money aside.

I did that once, I wouldn't say they were "very expensive" as I've since seen some real humdinger's.
There are a few neighborhood's that are "old rich" and "new rich" around here. We toured one of the "new rich" neighborhoods and got to go into a few houses. They were all very beautifully laid out but WAY too much space.

I loved that game "Mash" I always thought it would come true that I would own a nice big dreamy house with the man of my dreams.
I would love to end up somewhere warm and have a decently sized house on the ocean or I guess any body of water where I could own a boat and spend the day on the water whenever I wanted to

Oh yes MASH, I didn't play it that often but yup I always dream of that big ol house.
You actually remind me of something. My friends and I have this running joke, whoever wins the lottery first, will buy a big piece of land with a big ol' house and we will all live there together. Our s/o and children etc...
