Do manatees look like cows?

Manatees are also called sea cows. They are found in the Carribean Sea, the Amazon Basin and the Gulf of Mexico. The reason they are called sea cows is due to their face having similarity with cows in the land. The other reason is that manatees are also herbivorous animals feeding on planktons and other sea plants. They dont eat flesh of other animals like cows. They are also facing extinction. At one point of time indigenous tribes used to hunt them.

This reminds me of the kid's show, VeggieTales, where Larry the Cucumber sings about "Barbara Manatee". Here's a link where you can watch it.
