Dinner as a reward

After J came over and did so much work, we felt we needed to at the very least, feed him. He had a platter of food, but I'm the one who ordered everything in sight - including a mojito! Because I had the mojito, even though I then ate 6 oysters, a skewer of shrimp, and one of their shrimp scampis. A glass of tea - I drank 3 of them - and that lovely mojito. So, I turned my keys over to J to drive us home. As we got close to the house we saw flashing police lights. Turned out to be a rather bad looking accident, the one car was pretty crumpled up and had the air bag deployed. The tow truck was probably about to drag the crumpled car onto the flatbed, so I'm sure it was all gone in just a few hours, but still it was interesting. What did you have dinner? Was there any excitement relating to it?

NO excitement like you had. Glad you gave your keys to J to drive you home.

I wasn't any where near drunk, but I probably didn't need to be driving because I was tired and hurting

@ElicBxn Hurting and tired is not a good combination so it was good you didn't drive.

It was good, then again, I'd only had a bowl of tomato soup before this around noon and it was close to 8:30 when we got to the restaurant and around 9 before we got any food.
