Today I went to the super to buy a couple of things. As usual, I bought more than what I expected and as usual some of the goods were hidden so it took me some time to find them.
We finally finished with the super and came back home, tired and ready for a cup of tea.
While we got tea ready with ham just bought and a lovely bread from the bakery, the sun went somewhere else and we were left in the darkness.
Isn´t it wonderful that we have electricity, television, internet, computers and so many things to have fun?
I was watching Downton Abbey yesterday and I smiled when there was a conversation about the importance of having electricity there. The Earl said that, of course, they hadn´t placed electricity in the bedrooms as it was too dangerous

Oh thank you for mentioning ham. I have to go to the freezer to take one out for our dinner this week. I promised my husband that I would take it out. His fault that he didn't remind me.
I have never watched a single episode of that show. Many of my friends watch it and find it quite entertaining.

Yes imagine no electricity in our bedrooms, we use our ceiling fan a lot and of course the TV and lights.

When I grow old, I will spend the last days gardening and growing vegetables, not sure about fruits though, some of them are trees.
