Should the boundary distance be increased, 638 sixes hit in IPL 2016?

Yes T20 is a batsmen game..and IPL's main intention is entertaining crowd. But too many sixes being hit, 638 this season. Sometimes edges are are carried into crowd. In some of the stadiums the boundaries are very short as much as 60 mts. According to me a minimum of 70 mts should be maintained on sides of the ground.
this will bring the boundary fielders into Acton and we may see some great catches.
Your opinions please...

Yeah we saw Gayle's shots that were mistimed going to boundaries. Big bats, short boundaries, power plays...it's difficult to be a t20 bowler!!

Thanks Vijayji, I dont think the size of the boundary will make a difference. The pitch can make a difference. India requires hard bouncy wickets like Perth, Barbados and Durban.
If fast bowlers can bounce back, batsman can fall in trouble. Bad pitches should be banned.

@vijay_2016 Yes vijayji, last year the wicket of Nagpur where South Africa lost against India was a disgusting pitch. It should be banned.

@sathviksouvik yes not only on India everywhere the pitches are home team friendly. Yes A lot of discussion happened on that pitch..even a report was asked by ICC as far as I remember. Hope such things won't repeat to keep test cricket alive

Yes bowlers should get support from pitch also..ICC should keep an eye on test pitches also. These days the trend is home team wins most of the matches as pitches are supporting the home team
