I really like the Showtime show, "Shameless". It is definitely not for the faint-of-heart, however. It definitely pushes the boundaries of what is acceptable on television. Despite that, one of the most painful things for me to watch is one of the character's struggle with bipolar disorder. So many of the symptoms he encounters hit me hard, and I know that it must be hard for my family and friends to watch. The mania, the depression, the endless maddening cycles. I've been there...in bed for days or up sleeping little, running around like I'm on speed. It is exhausting. It is really strange to watch someone go through it and wonder if that is what you look like to other people. I have a Facebook page called My Bipolar world that I post a lot of my ramblings about the way I feel at a specific time. It helps me through the bad times and helps me enjoy the good.

Bipolar people are one of the coolest kinds of people. They bring life to the party ans seem to honestly have a good time. But on the downside its really hard to talk to them when they are in their more depressing state.

Yeah Bipolar disorder is not that easy to deal with and it's like the family support is the most crucial in this.
