A long week

Despite my best intentions it's been nearly two weeks since I last posted 
It's been a fortnight where I'm sure I blinked and missed it, mostly as once again everything has gone crazy at work. I went into work the other week to discover that starting that day my boss had been seconded to another section of the business, so our deputy has been left in charge for 3 months 
. The result was I was given a lot more hours and there's been loads to do, as my boss was one of those who did everything so he's been a big miss.
On top of that I seem to have had one of those weeks were nothing has gone right, you know the ones, where you park next to a pothole when it's raining stand in it getting out of the car, and then stand in it again before you get back in the car 
But on a bright note I did get my lovely postcard of isabelle

yes ma'am, i've'd weeks like that. 's yer deputy not steppin' 'p to the plate 'n tacklin' those projects's yer former boss did? 'r was such added to the duties he's already got?
i've joined this postcard frenzy jest recent ('s'n the past few days, lol) 'n can't wait to get started sendin' some out myself. 'course, the weather needs to cooperate a bit more so's i can drive 'nto town'n purchase such.
wonder if'n ms. izzy'll be sendin' me one?? perhaps we need to 'xchange addy's 'n add each other to our "lists" :D

Sorry to hear the days have been crazy for you.
Still good to see you posting..I have not been posting at all due to looking after sick Mama.

No, ours isn't as pretty as it's an old mining village, this ones rothbury were I went with my dad the other week
