If you're a newbie blogger or experienced you probably have read the tips where the experts tell you to make the most out of your blog content by installing a related posts widget. The widget draws similar blog posts from previously published entries and suggests them to the reader. The objective is to keep the visitor at the blog as long as possible by suggesting more for them to read. These widgets work great! But they also have additional uses or benefits. - TIP: You can use them to revisit your posts and fix broken links. If you have a blog with posts that date back several years you need to occasionally check your entries. But that's a big job! You could look back, one by one, checking each post. But if you have limited resources, look at the recommended “You Might Also Like” that the widget suggested. These are the posts that your visitor will likely see before or if they decide to peruse your archived posts. So click on those posts and recheck them. You want to ensure that your reader has a pleasant experience and will come back often. Don't bad links turn you off? Many times I've found the content was outdated and/or there were broken links, etc. Keeping your content up to date and “clean” has a positive impact your search engine rankings. That's obvious. But, if you are an affiliate advertiser, sometimes the vendor links have changed or the vendor no longer participates in the program, and you miss out on earning revenue. Lots of times you don't get an eMail alerting you that your affiliate links went bad; so it's up to you have to stay on top of these things and replace those affiliate links with similar products or services.

It's difficult for me to say since you're in the Phillipines. I wouldn't know how to advise you to monetize your blog. Your blog looks really nice though! Keep at it. It's a good work.

@cmoneyspinner I hope that you'll get approve. I think I cannot manage 2 blogs. I had a blog before which was in Blogger and Weebly but those are blogs for leisure only. I did not work on it seriously unlike the one that I have now.

@annierose - Managing more than one blog is not easy. There are some however who are way better at it than me. I know people with 7 or 8 blogs and I just drop out of the race when I see those folks. There's no need in me trying to keep up with them. Here's my story. Started experimenting with platforms and kept getting my blogs deleted. Tried a different one or came back and tried again. Then I found blogging communities that let you join free and create a blog. Then all the experts say you should choose a niche, so I try to narrow the focus for a particular blog. All that moving and maneuvering and I ended up with multiple blogs. I need to be more organized with my blogging tasks and I think I will be able to handle them all successfully. I think. I said “I think”. I must try or I will never know.
