How can I connect my headphones to two different devices?

June 1, 2016 5:56am CST
I am usually playing on the pc while making some calls on my mobile phone, I was wondering if such a device exists that would allow me to connect my headphones to the pc and mobile phone at the same time and hear audio coming from both without damaging any equipment.

There must be a way, because sometimes my car freaks out and overlays bluetooth through my speakers. Let me explain, my GPS through my phone gives me the directions over my car speakers. If I am on a call and the person is talking to me and a direction for the GPS comes up, I can hear both the phone call the GPS. It is actually confusing, but it happens.

I have actually never heard of this being possible. Is it? Sorry, I don't have an answer for you. If you find out, certainly let the rest of us know.

One way to do it is to get another pair of earphones connected to your smartphone and place it in left ear while the existing earphone connected to the PC can be put in your right ear. In that way you can listen to and use both devices at the same time.

Thank you, I already tried that but it is a little uncomfortable.
