Every now and then I like to try and sell some of my things that I no longer want or need. I sell the items through certain Buying / Selling Groups that I am in on Facebook.
I was just thinking about all the reasons / excuses people tell me for them being late or not showing up at all when they were meant to come to collect the item.
I'm an understanding person. I know people get busy and I know that sometimes people forget.
But was just thinking about the amount of times people have told me that they have been in hospital which has prevented them from coming.
Some people seem like they are telling the truth about it. But others seem like they were lying.
Call it stalking if you want 
but a few occasions I have checked their Facebook account only to see that they were constantly posting photos of them being out and having a good time. Even though they had told me that they were really ill and in hospital.
Not saying that all the people who have said they were ill were lying but I'm wondering how many do lie about it.
It would seem a lot quicker and convenient if they just said they weren't interested or want to change the day to collect what they apparently want to buy.
Not a BIG deal. Just venting a little. Have a woman at the moment who keeps telling me she will put money into my account for me so I can send something out to her but has failed to do so for over a week because she is apparently in hospital even though I can see what she's really up to.

how weird. why do they say they want something and will buy then not show up. makes no sense does it? I to would wonder about that

@bunnybon7 I think people just like to stir up trouble. Like they get some sort of pleasure from annoying others.

@jaboUK haha! I know! What's scary though is with some people, even after you catch them out, they still continue to lie to try and cover up their tracks lol But it doesn't work. Once you catch someone out, that's it. I don't know why they bother trying to convince me that they were telling the truth! I'm not THAT dense.

@miniam Oh absolutely! I know that sort of thing happens quite often. I always make a point to the buyers that I never send anything out until I receive money.

@paigea That's what I think too! I don't appreciate it when people lie to me. Especially when I'm trying to do right by them by waiting and moving my life around to suit them.

First of all, I wasn't thinking about selling some of my stuff like load full of books I have. I wasn't even considering asking you how to do things at eBay. I was seriously not considering doing a post on that asking for help so I won't bother you much. I was absolutely NOT spooked by your mind tuning thing. I don't even believe that something like this happened. Yes, that is right. It didn't happen. Nope..not at all.......
Secondly, I always question this and am doubtful about this facebook profile checking. Is it really stalking? I mean profiles are put up by people so everyone can see them and get in touch with them. If there is something they don't want people to know, they can set it to private. I don't know if it is stalking to be honest. Same thing on myLot!
Thirdly, why are you even waiting on that woman? When you sell something, please put up a deadline for payments. If they fail to make the deadline, their purchase offer is automatically cancelled by you. I don't know how you deal with this dilly-dallying. I have no patience for that. I will be climbing the walls if I absolutely HAD to wait on someone like that. Especially for something like this.

Yeah I remember you saying something similar about that but I don't mind. Don't know how to explain it but I just always feel better when you're around anyway. You're not taking any time away from me or anything like that. We are talking which is awesome.
It is pretty good at the moment thank you. I've been laying on the floor for awhile. It has it's moments where it's hard to tolerate and then, it's ok and then I feel totally fine but then it goes back to hurting.

I guess I am just very patient. I have occasions where I just re-post the item because I get sick of waiting but otherwise, I wait for a little while.
