Are You Censoring Yourself?

Do you like to vent here but you suppress that feeling?
There are moments you wanted to tap on the keyboards and express the real feeling, but you are afraid of the consequences. It is not being a coward, but you are just cautious it might lead to unwanted results.
So instead of dealing with it, you just post other topics which are meant to avoid sharing controversial ones. It is self-censorship.

That is true, though we may be "itching" to say what we wanted to say; better be in the middle-level playing field.

@acelawrites I do agree. It is a matter of looking something to vent out the bad feelings.

Yes, there are portions of our daily lives that we wanted what people might say or get some advice from them. It makes one's heart lighter knowing there are people who could understand.

It is so nice to do so really if all the people have the same mindsets, or they can feel what you are going through. I understand your situation, and same here, at times I had to delete what I had posted instead of submitting it for fear that it might be so hurting to others.

Yes, that's what I told @Letranknight2015, that we can vent sometimes but in a "creative" way meaning it could not be so blunt to hurt other people here.

I definitely self-censor. This is a public forum and there are things that are best expressed in a private journal or not at all. I am generally non-confrontational and will avoid conflict most of the time. I've never found crossing swords with other people very productive.

It is the best way not to be a "troll" here; or avoid hurting the feelings of other people.

I wonder were else I'm supposed to vent my thoughts and feelings. I realized these days I don't have friends I can talk to, there are no other place for me to vent except probably here. No one's been reading my post here.

You are wrong, we are your friends here and we are reading your posts. There are certain ways where we can vent; I mean in a creative way.

It is because we do not want to stir the hornet's nest! Thanks, @JohnRoberts.

I usually hear it from people who are so wise in uttering words; they are so cautious.
