What's The Meaning of Your Username?

How did you come up with your username? I have to admit that I encountered some usernames here that are so unique, clearly a reflection of the creativity of the person who holds that account. Others I find interesting that they made me Google it in case they have some deeper meanings. In my case, Raine is not my real name. It is however my childhood nickname. Me and my friends would come up with names for our video game characters since most of our favorite ones are role playing games (the like of Final Fantasy). The first time we bonded over video games was a rainy day and since we cannot go out and play, we got bored and decided to try our Playstation, and we’re hooked. I figure “Raine” is just a name version or twist from “rain” and I like it. Also, I want to preserve my anonymity in this site. I just prefer to protect my privacy this way. However, all my posts are from my actual experiences; I just withhold names of the people involve to protect theirs as well. So yeah, while my username is not my real name, my opinions and experiences shared here are real. What about you? What's the story behind your username?
