What Would You do With a Million Dollars?

What would you do with a million dollars? Would you spend the money wisely or foolishly? Would you save the money or spend it immediately? Would you give any of the money to charity? Would you go on a shopping spree to buy all the things that you could never afford before? I would save much of the money. I would be careful how I chose to spend it. Fancy cars do not impress me. I would like to have an upgrade on some of my appliances however.

A million bucks does not stretch as far as you think in today's world if you go spend crazy. My first movie would be a dream trip to Australia.

A million dollars is not a lot in my place.
Even public apartments can get a resale price of more than a million dollars with remaining lease of 70 years.
I will use half to buy pay part of the housing loan, and the other half to buy an annuity.
Two million dollars will be better.
At least I have some money left for luxury.

This reminds me of a discussion I responded to a couple of days ago. And, I'm going to reply the same as I did in that one. I would use some of the money to catch up on bills and get myself out of debt. I would also use some of it to get my husband a new truck. As much as I love his truck, it's falling apart. He keeps pooring money into it and we just can't aford to keep doing so. Eventually we won't be able to replace everything, and may be forced to get a new one.

a million dollars in the Philippine bank could earn a quarterly interest enough for me to enjoy a very comfortable life. So, i'll save that money in the bank and spend the interest only.

Well, I would buy a house in a city I like and some necessary things for my parents. And if there is still some money remains, I would do some investments.
