Men's shorts;Ridiculous wearing

I have seen a number of times watching men moving in shorts on the beaches . The shorts they wear are totally ridiculous with most of them just exposing their ankles. Sometimes their ankles. What is the use of wearing these shorts which are almost 3/4 of their regular pants? They give neither romantic appearance to the wearer not do they have any comfort of washing their bodies.If they have come for enjoying swimming they will not serve the purose. When they will be moving along the beaches in Baffoon like shorts the ladies will be moving in bikinis. Totally disgusting to see men wearing such shorts. When I questioned a wearer as to what is the benefit of wearing such dress the reply was even silly : It has got many pockets and I can keep my cell phone and other electronic gadgets comfortably". I did not understand what electronic gadgets he has to keep in such pockets particularly when moving on a beach. A men's short should always be just to the mid thigh. It should be neither too long nor too short particularly when you are on the beach. Even short knickers are preferable than long shorts / knee length shorts. They will be comfortable to wear even outside for shopping. If you want to keep something you can go for additional pockets with zips and buttons.
