I found a quaint little thrift shop the other day in who knows what little town I happen to be in. I got lost, really lost. I was trying to go to Cedar Key here in Florida and somehow got off course.
While wandering around the town I spotted a handmade sign claiming to have second hand items in front of an adorable vintage home. I couldn't resist. I just had to park and go in.
I was pleasantly surprised at what I saw. It was set up inside like an old fashioned store. Or at least what I imaged an old fashioned store would have looked like.
It was absolutely charming, reasonably priced, and contained the most interesting items. They had different venues set up throughout the house each one more interesting than the past one. One of them was a wedding venue, it was beautiful. There was much attention paid to little details. I walked out of there having purchased quite a few things.
I love this type of set up. I can only image that they would sell more items set up this way.
I can only hope that I will find it again someday. Darn, I should have asked the clerk the name of the town.

Well, a good thing happened by getting lost. I am glad you found the nice store. Did you buy anything while there?

@LeaPea2417 I did. I obtain a book that I was missing out of a series. I found a wonderful vintage cross stitch pattern, an adorable little teapot and a couple of decorative pillows.

@LeaPea2417 I love teapots, especially unusual ones. The one I picked up was and elephant, it's trunk is the handle

@HazySue It might time some research but you might be able to find it.

@AbbyGreenhill I sure don't. I don't remember hearing it mentioned and unfortunately I didn't ask. I think it had Second Hand in the name.

@JohnRoberts I know what you mean. One time I found a saucer to match my dish pattern. I had broken the saucer a couple of years before and thought I would never be able to replace it.

It sounds very charming. I fell in love with Thrift Shops after I worked in one.

It's great you found a great second hand store.
I loved this store-it was so unique.
