To make puris crispier add some add some rava to the what flour To make Bajjis crispier add some corn flour to the gram flour To make softer chapatis add warm milk or curd while kneading use a heavy bottomed vessel for making upma, kheer etc., to prevent burning Add few drops of oil to the rice before cooking to prevent it from becoming sticky To peel the skin of Almonds and Tomatoes soak then for 10-15 minutes in boiling water. Use excess Dal Water for making Rasam While adding curd to the biryani and break it nicely before adding. To separate each string of noodles, run it under cold water immediately after boiling and draining the water. Tomato paste or sauce can be used in place of Tomatoes while cooking While chopping vegetables chop them in bulk. The excess remaining shall be kept in a fridge for later use. It saves time.

Adding Rava to flour for Puri? Actually I like Puri to be soft rather than crispy!!
