The Pinawela elephant orphanage in Sri Lanka is a fantastic orphanage. Visitors who come to visit Sri Lanka spend time in the orphanage.
Feeding the baby elephants with milk is a big fun. the visitors are supposed to buy the milk and then feed the baby elephants with feeding bottle.
the elephants are equally lively. They wait till the feeding bottle is filled and drink from the bottles. It is a beautiful experience.

Wow, an elephant must have drank a lot of milk every day.
It sure sounds fun to feed the animals.
I think that is a very clever marketing. The orphanage has to buy milk to feed the elephants even if no tourist comes.
Since tourists like to experience something new, they let the tourists pay for the milk.
They sure know how to cut cost.
