Rabindranath Tagore was an international genius. He wrote and composed the Indian national anthem "jana gana mana adhinayak jaya he". He also wrote and composed the national anthem of Bangladesh "amar sonar bangla ami tomay bhalobashi". He taught Samarakoon in Viswavarathi, Shantiniketan who in turn wrote and composed the national anthem of Sri Lanka, "sri lanka matha, apa sri lanka". All the national anthems prepared are very melodious.

I know that he wrote Indian and Bangladeshi national anthems. It is great to know that he was related to SriLankan national anthem also. I just love our national anthem "jana gana mana"..during international cricket matches when they play I have goosebumps.

Yes Vijayji, whenever India plays and the national anthem played I stand up in my house and sing it myself. It gives a patriotic feeling.
