I LOVE Paul Bettany. First movie I ever saw him in was Legion, where he plays the Angel Michael. Michael turns away from God because God has decreed that all humans are to die, again. Only this time, instead of a flood, God is turning his Angels on humans to kill them off. In Priest, Paul again plays a man of God. He plays the Priest; a specially gifted man who was trained by the church specifically to kill vampires. When his brother and niece are attacked, Priest turns away from the church when he is told not to hunt down the vampires that hunted his family. On a rampage, assisted by a sheriff from the "Wastelands," Priest goes after everything without a soul, in order to rescue the one person left alive that he cares about. This movie is one of my favorite vampire movies, because it's different. You'll understand when you watch it. Let me know!
