Drinking Session

This could be another kind of session like the legislative session. But this one is for the boys or girls come together and have some light moment of bonding with the bottles of liquor in the center of the table together with 'pulutan' or food eaten while drinking. This is common in the rural provinces in our country. After hard work in the office, farm field, construction of building or house, drinking session come as part of relaxation in the afternoon. Instead of going to bar which is costly, common people have the drinking session.

The drinking session has been done in some part of the cities as well. My colleagues do that after accomplishing the tasks given to them. That is one reasons I am not that close with my colleagues. I do not drink and they somehow think I am a "KJ" or the Kill Joy in the group.

@ilocosboy I did it once but what I do not like is forcing me to drink liquors so I just get away everytime they will have their drinking session.

I never attended a drinking session ever since but my husband did long time ago. Good thing he don't drink anymore,

Sessions like this are common everywhere, I think. After a hard, long day at work, people would like to kick back and relax a=with a bottle of cpldie and just spend time with family and friends. I do not drink myself, but for me a bottle or two is just fine to have a good time.
