Thank God for mylot... / myLot

I'm not a big fan of social media ESP Facebook.. Too much drama and too many oretensioius people trying to impress people they hate.! But mylot... I just love it here.. Many people with substance and lots to share. Relevant and short just enough for a good time.. All the more reason to get hooked..

I also love Mylot compared to facebook, here, my siblings can't see me that I'm online whereas if I'm there(FB) they asked me many questions even we did talk in magic jack.

Maybe because here, people actually talk, converse. Share opinions, experiences, offer stories and advices. And also, I would like to think that we are all being real here.

i seldom check my newsfeed nowadays but i do use their Messenger everyday. i, too, enjoy mylot everyday. i thank God its still alive and better.

I agree. Being away for 3 years here in my lot had an impact in me. Yes. Facebook is there and it helps me when I am looking for something because businessmen will always be posting stuff there which I like. But with the selfies that is all over the place, it seemed that they joined the Facebook community to be liked by other people. They would post smiling faces but would get mad if they did not get a like or a comment. Mylot is a good place to express and have a healthy discussion.

others show only the "impressive" side of their life, it's all about "image," while others bare every little detail and everyone involved, especially the bad and the ugly. it's the extreme of "being real" that it repulses you.

I can't cause my mother constantly emails me in Facebook. I wanted to delete my account a long time ago but I didn't because of that.. So what I did just to avoid all the drama was like all the cat pages and cat accounts in Facebook so only cats can flood my wall and nothing else.
