Who was the most influencial person in your life, and why? I've had a lot of role models, and people that I've looked up to over the years. Some well known around the world, but most of them were people right here, my family, or in the community around me. Teachers, also played a big part. But for the most influencial person, I would have to say it was my Grandmother. I loved that woman dearly, she was so soft spoken, and kind to everyone. When I needed help, she ways always right there. She taught me a lot about life, and the people in it. I saw her go through a lot, and she never let it get her down. There was also my Grandfather, and he taught me much the same things, but from a different perspective. He was not soft spoken, he said what was on his mind, and didn't try to be kind to someone if he didn't like them. The two of them combined, helped to mold me into the person that I am today. I spent a lot of time with them when they were still alive, and I miss them each and every day. Even though they've been gone for many years now, I still feel as though they're right here with me, because of all they instilled within me while they were here in the physical world. So I suppose instead of saying my Grandmother, I would have to say my Grandparents as a whole.

I had very little to no influence, but the negativity I had I used to proove people I was good. My Uncle mother was the only one who appreciated who I was as a person and I vowed to be more like her and I have kept that promise.

Though it's a sad thought, even negative influence molds, and shapes you into the person that you become later on down the road. If you're happy with who you are today, and are a good person. Are you sure you can say that you'd be the same if you didn't have all of that negativity growing up? I am happy to hear that you had at least one good influence to help guide you, everyone needs somebody to look up to.

I would have to say my parents. Which are your grandparents. =) And for all the same reasons you gave above.

They were just remarkable people, there's so much to say about them, that I find it hard to say anything at all sometimes.

I would have to say my mother, and I always feel like that is so cheesy to say, but its true. She taught me to be strong and stand up for myself, but also be a doting wife and mother. She would blatantly tell me when she disagreed with something I thought or did, and explain why instead of just pushing her views down my throat. She helped me become the strong, Christian wife and mother I am today, and I am so thankful for it.

That doesn't sound cheesy at all, my parents were quite influencial on me as well. Ecspecially my Momma, she's been like my bestfriend for years, and I don't know what I would do without her. I'm glad to hear that you had such a positive influence in your life, and that you've found your happy place. ^_^
