Hi guys,
Wow it's been a while since I last checked myLot - literally 6 years ago. Just happened someone sent me a message here and I received email notification - yeah after 6 years lol. Anyway, just the right timing - I was reading some quotes and I found this one "When in doubt, risk it". Just want to check your thoughts about this quote. Just wondering what is your own explanation and interpretation of this. And do you think it is positive or negative quote?

I have to disagree on that one. My thinking is, when in doubt, don't. If I am doubting a seller's truthfulness, I will not proceed with the sale. If I am doubting the structural integrity of the bridge, I do not cross it. If I am doubting the quality of my research paper, I do not submit it until I read through it again. If I doubt a person's intentions towards me, I do not agree to go out with him. It is not a matter of not being a risk-taker per se, but for me it's a matter of self-preservation and being cautious so I would not get hurt.

Well I think if we never take chances we will never know what could happen. Without risk there is regret.

I think a lot of good things have come forth by risking a little. Also worse things have happened. If there is some doubt there is mostly no way of knowing what will happen. But if the first person takes a risk, the others will know if it was the right step or not. It will be beneficial overall for the future endeavours.
