Being famous vs Being a Celebrity

Some people often use these two terms interchangeably: being famous/ being a Celebrity. Do u really think both terms should be used interchangeably? Whats your take on this?

I think a satisfied life is always better than a famous life.. One should just need to be happy nothing else..

I don't think they're completely interchangeable. Some people can be famous in a certain field, such as science or literature, without necessarily being a "celebrity." I suppose it depends on how you define celebrity.

Everyone knows Obama, he very famous but I'm sure he's not a celebrity.
