My sister is being induced today / myLot

My sister is pregnant with her fourth child. She has preclampsia so they are inducing her today. Her due date was June 18th. My dad and mom went to the hospital at 7am and my sister rode with the babies father. I have been sick with this sinus thing so this is the first baby to be born of hers that I won't see born. At 7:09 my niece called crying because her brother was crying so she got scared. My daughter went over for a few hours. The babies grandmother just dropped off homemade spaghetti and meatballs for all the kids for dinner. It was so kind and unexpected. I am taking my two kids and my niece and nephew to the playground for a hour. Then we will be stopping to get their older brother and going for ice cream.

Her blood pressure is up a little bit but hopefully there won't be any other complications. She's only at 4 cm so its going to be awhile yet.

@CRK109 She had the baby at about 8 pm. She was 9 lbs 5 oz. That's a huge baby for 2 weeks early. The shoulders got stuck. My sister went through a lot to get her out I feel so bad for her but the baby is healthy!

That`s so lovely to keep them occupied while their mom is away so they dont get lonely and scared. Hope you all have fun.

We have had fun. I took them to the school for an hour. We walked there and back. The girls rode their bikes and the boys played on the playground. My nephew was tired right off after we got back from getting ice cream he fell asleep right in the floor.

I hadn't heard anything from my mother in two hours and so I was hoping that meant that my sister was pushing. I saw in the photo my mother posted things on the bottom of my sisters legs. I guess because of her blood pressure they put them on in case of an emergency c-section. Thankfully things went find and baby and mommy are healthy.

She was induced with her third child as well. This labor was easier then his as she got an epidural but the baby was 9 lbs 5 oz and the shoulders got hung up so they had a hard time getting her out. My sister is sore but they are both healthy.
