My eldest daughter´s birthday is today but my gifts were given on Thursday

She invited us, family, on Thursday as yesterday she had tickets for a ballet and today she is invited to dine out by her boyfriend.
I did not feel that it was really her birthday on Thursday, specially since there wasn´t a birthday cake with candles.
But I took her gifts and she loved them. I bought her a 100% cotton under shirt (is that the name) and one of those thingies you use to cover wine bottles. They are plastic corks and it also has a pump so that you take the oxigen out of the open bottle. That creates a void and the wine keeps fresher.
Now I called her to sing her a happy birthday song completly off tune

She invited me (us, the family) on Thursday as she was invited out by her BF on her real birthday. Then I gave her her gifts, but the song has to be sung on the real day.
