Here is my response to a @Jessicalynnt poetry challenge to create a verse using the words; shark, storm, weather, tornado, twist. Poem Oz H2O The shark was snatched from the water park Landing on a yellow brick road Alarmed to find that no water flowed As Munchkins tried to fit ruby slippers To his dorsal fins and flippers He bit the mayor’s head off with a satisfying twist As the deputy raged and shook his fist. “This isn’t Dorothy, you short sighted buffoons. What use is a shark against the witch’s flying baboons? Our tornado has raised a monster from the deep We must get him back in the water before his eternal sleep. Oz will create quite a storm over this mess While the mad old witch probably couldn’t care less Send the scarecrow running Hell for leather Tell the wizard we had problems with the weather Our apologies, Mr Shark for this unfortunate calamity Tap you fins together and repeat there’s no place like Amity. There’s no place like Amity. There’s no place like Amity. Fin. Arthur Chappell
