Cheating During Examinations

According to one of our professors here, cheating is one percent concentration (1%) and ninety nine percent (99%) perspiration. Many students cheat during exams in school. For me, it could be considered as a normal behavior of students. I think almost all students cheat. And they do it in different ways. Some, have their "Codigos" on their palms, on a small sheet of paper, or on their legs, on their handkerchiefs or even on their nails. Sometimes they do it through hand signals or simply by peeping into their seatmate's paper. You can easily identify who are cheating through their behavior. They look uncomfortable, they are perspiring and they keep on moving. There are students who make cheating as a habit. They are lazy or not interested to review their lessons. They just rely on their seatmate's answers. Nowadays, they have it on their cellphones. During your school days, do you cheat? Or have you experience cheating while taking an examination in school?

I ever cheated once when I was in university. I wrote the answer on my arm before the exam. When I do the exam, I was nervous and I was afraid the teacher will find the answer. Only once in my life. hehe

Yeah. That's one technique also. And it's really hard to use it. You will really feel nervous your focus on the exam will be lost because of nervousness.

No, I haven't experience cheating. I'm the one who give answers to my classmates who can't answers their test papers, I even let some of my classmates copied my test paper during my master's degree so that they can pass, anyway, they are only looking for some units on master's degree.

@magallon Yes. I don't mind if my classmates would ask me a favor if they can copy my answers especially to those master's degree but not all subjects I can share them my answers, it's only in line of math and other related subjects.

When I was a student I would let my classmates copy my answers. That was cheating of course. But that never happened in law school because we seemed to be all professionals then and we valued honesty more than when we were younger.

But ihad this classmate who wasn't so smart that he got caught guilty and went sour from there.

Sometimes, students really cheat if the exam is so difficult. In Philosophy, cheating is considered as good. Because your intention is to pass the subject which is also good. But in moral values, cheating is bad.

I never cheated from the time I started studying until the day I graduated. My classmates hated me because I report people who cheat and I didn't care less if I didn't have friends. I wouldn't want to have dishonest people in my social circle anyway.
