Oh goodness me, I was given a Bad Word Error this morning when I tried to tell someone in a response that I need to be stricter with myself and find the hidden
"B with an itch" in me before my next attempt of bowling.
Oops I feel like a naught girl getting a reprimanding from my parents!
Its been a long while since that ever happened, I mean the reprimanding from my parents, not the BAD WORD ERROR, I got that the other day while trying to write the word "Char -donnay" - this will never be the same again!
Have you ever had the Bad word error FLAG you? Give us your examples!
My photo - SPOT the TOURIST?
And what do you think the local is saying . . . " " give me your thoughts

I don't know if this is urban myth or not but supposedly when Scun-thorpe Council (without the hyphen!!), in the UK, made the switch to email they weren't receiving any emails from external sources. When it was investigated it turned out to be a rude word filter blocking all of the council workers email addresses which ended in @scun-thorpe.gov.uk.
And what do you know, the myLot rude filter blocked my original attempt to post this comment!!

I have had the B itch one and that was referring to a female dog so justifiable un-rude usage - such filters tend to be rather too literal

@Inlemay the meaning of the words should be apparent from context and the words round it rather than just those letters on their own

Every once in awhile I get the bad word message and I am like what? The last time was for a music lyric I quoted. Hardly offensive.

its actually the correct word, its not even derogatory at all, however it was in a response and I said I need to find the B- with an itch in me to master my temperament in bowling. Not worried at all, just thought it funny, like the Chardo -nnay

I can't say that I have and I can't say that I haven't. That said, I plead the fifth.
