In my head you're reading the title of this post whilst reclined unnaturally on a couch, a hand on your forehead, eyes closed, your dress revealing your ample bosom, swooning in horror at the injustice that exists in the world.
Obviously my imagination does run wild.
I listened in to a conversation on the bus this morning. I wasn't eavesdropping, just unable to not listen. The lady said to the younger chap that it was an injustice!
Oh, exciting. What had I missed in the news? Had some children been bombed out of their homes in Syria? Had some women been trafficked as slaves or harlots in Africa or Eastern Europe? Had a family been struck by cancer three times in one year, losing not one, not two, but three children under ten? Did a drunk driver swerve into a bunch of pedestrians, killing them instantly, and only receive a minimal sentence as punishment?
No!
It was far, far worse. Terry Pratchett died {see, it wasn't even recent news she was commenting on!} and now he'll never be able to write another book, to go with the vast collection of books he'd already written and which made him a worldwide literary giant and a millionaire.
Oh, the injustice!

I'm horrible about eavesdropping on conversations in public places. I've learned some fascinating information this way.....I've also observed how some people need a governor on their mouth to control what spills out.

My take on it is that if they're talking about it in public it's okay to listen to them. :)

I rate him as one of my favourite, but I didn't get into his stories till well into my twenties. I remember starting to read one as a teenager and not understanding it at all! I think I've read every book he wrote now.
