I don't know if it still exists, but, I recall seeing, when I first joined MyLot, in the rules, that short two or three word comments paid nothing and that, to get paid, your comment had to have a minimum of thirty characters(minus spacing) to make money...Just curious...

@Wordly1 myLot does not pay you for anything you write yourself. In fact, the FAQ page even states if you do not receive some type of interaction to what you write, you won't earn.

@JolietJake That's true. That's why I put the emphasis on 'comments'.

There has never been anything in the rules about a minimum character count. I don't know where you read that, but it was definitely not in the myLot guidelines page.

@trivia79 Well, it's like this: a like shows interest, and we get paid for that...however, it is better to write a little more than just 'thank you'. The rules no longer state it, but we used to be discouraged to simply thank people and not add more to it.

I think that doesn't exist anymore when i went over the new guidelines. If you have noticed too, the (-) sign has been removed as well as the stars that used to be next to our names.

@JolietJake Got it. Thinking back, I think that I got mixed up between this site and the 'PP' site which is now defunct. Thanks.

I have no idea bout the requirements for comments; the word/character count. But when the topic is interesting, I usually reply with so many words.
