What mode of transport did you use on your wedding day?

When I got married, we had a lovely horse and carriage for the day. It had two beautiful brown Clydesdale horses. I loved it. What mode of transport did you use on your wedding day?

Wow you are so very lucky! We just drove in our vehicle since we were just going home after the ceremony. We didn't really have a real wedding like others do...There was 8 people there.

@lovebeingmummy2 It was okay but it's fine since that's not the important part.

I drove myself to the park where we got married. I'd stayed with my friend who was my maid of honor. And I was lucky to remember where my keys were. I was a bit of a basket case. I nearly got us lost.

@lovebeingmummy2 As it was, I was about 15 minutes late. I hated to keep people waiting, but it's not like I could call ahead and say, "Go ahead and start without me."

That sounds lovely. I love Clydesdales. We had a limousine. The last time we went on a horse and carriage ride was in Ireland. I won't do it anymore, because of the poor horses.

We used my husband's car, but a horse and carriage would have been so romantic.

It is very romantic to have the horse carriage for wedding. But it is impossible to happen here. Here many people use the cars for wedding, including me.

That's beautiful to have a carriage for the special day. I'm not married yet, but I think just our cars as transportation.

We drove my car for our honeymoon. We got married in the 80s and at the time I was driving a 1976 Buick 4 door car that was maroon in color.
