Cultural difference is very apparent among gamblers in the casinos

There is a lot of cultural differences among gamblers in the casinos. Many Asian casinos are very noisy because a lot of casual gamblers are noisy. When someone plays table game, his friends will stand behind him to cheer whenever he wins. Sometimes they will add their chips too. If you just listen to the noise, you would think that they are fans in a football match. If the casino is a local casino in the western world, the casino is very quiet. The gamblers hardly talk to each other as they focus on their game. Nobody comes to woo or boo them when they win or lose. If not for the sound from the slot machines, and the dealers who have to announce the start or end of game, the whole place is as quiet as a cemetery.

i've never been to casinos but I'm sort of entertained with how vividly you have spotted the cultural difference.

@salonga If you are a gambler, you will enjoy the game itself. If you are not a gambler, then you will enjoy the chance to stand aside and watch all the silliness of the gamblers. That is what I do most of the time. I just stand near the drink counter, sip my coffee slowly, and watch everyone. You get to see all the silly behavior, the disgusting behavior, and those who get very arrogant when they win!

I haven't been in an Asian casino, but I have been in casinos where a lot of the customers are Asian, and yes they are noisy.

@scheng1 They do like to have fun - I never mind a bit of noise if people are enjoying themselves.

@jaboUK Yes, I also like to watch them cheering one person who has won! It seems like a festive occasion to see someone winning, and you cheer so loudly with many others.

I went to the casino once. And yes, it is noisy sometimes you cannot barely hear your voice that you needed to shout to the operator.
