Jeff Beck reports the news from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania the Pittsburgh Pirates have called from their AAA minor league team the Indianapolis Indians right handed starting pitcher Jameson Taillon.
Taillon, 24, will be making his debut in the Major Leagues on Wednesday versus the New York Mets at PNC Park in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.
The Pirates had to play a double header on Tuesday after a baseball game was rained out on Monday.
Taillon has not pitched in the last two seasons prior to the 2016 baseball season with a hernia and Tommy John surgery that kept him of the pitching mound in the Pirates minor league teams in the 2014 and 2015 baseball seasons.
Taillon has a pitching record of four wins and two losses in ten starts for the Indians during the 2016 baseball season with an earned run average of 2.04.
It is no clear of Taillon will remain with the Pirates starting pitching staff beyond his debut on Wednesday or he will return to the minor leagues to work on his game to return to the Pirates later in the year.

I suspect Taillon will be optioned back to the minors. That's usual case with emergency double header starters.

Thank you for your input John on this story. At least Taillon will have a chance to pitch in one game in the Major Leagues this year.
