What not to wear to the Airport

My recent experience taught me that I should not carry the things to make others hold in the long queue. This is not due to my inexperience but the observation of a novice standing in front of me made me learn the things and caution others.
The things we carry need to be scanned and the doubtful things even more, though in our opinion they do not. Better you do not carry the following to the Airport to make free movement in the security check and these are the perfect pieces for traveler;
Bulky Jacket; They need extra screening by the security.
This will hold up the line.
Hence, shop a non-bulky jacket
Lace-up Shoes;
Shoes should be very easy to wear and remove. Extra lacing will slow the things down. Sometimes, you will have pre-check which makes leave the shoe on while going through the check.If there are nails they have to be taken off and put for scanning. Tons of lacing may even embarrass the things.
Always wear sandals or sneakers
Metal Bracelets;
The body scanner detects certain metals. I have seen metal bangles posing a problem though other metals like gold, silver and precious metals do not seem to be posing a problem.
Always wear a jewellery which you won't need to put off near body scanner.

In my experience, the problems in the queue depend a lot on the people at the airport. I agree in general, but we must remember that the people at the airport have ways of checking elderly people without telling them to take out their shoes and the like
