My recent experience taught me that I should not carry the things to make others hold in the long queue. This is not due to my inexperience but the observation of a novice standing in front of me made me learn the things and caution others. The things we carry need to be scanned and the doubtful things even more, though in our opinion they do not. I have seen metal bangles posing a problem though other metals like gold, silver and precious metals do not seem to be posing a problem. Always wear a jewellery which you won't need to put off near body scanner.
