Hong kong is not the best place to live but still an ok city to live in . However, there are some illegal immigrants being smuggled to this city from many South East Asia countries such as India, Pakistin, Nepal , many African countries and Vietnam in the last two years and it is getting worse very day. These people always pretended to be persecuted from their own countries with politic and in war as well. Actually they are not and they just came in and make Hong Kong a mess right now. They participate in all kinds of crimes such as robbery, stolen stuffs , killing , sexual assault, using fakes currencies for everything, drunk, street fight with all kinds of weapons, and drugs and anything terrible you name it. They seldom act just by one person but always in a group as well. Even the taxi driver are their target during the night time. The police did all their best to stop these guys and tried to stop them in the border. However, they just have a way to smuggle in and our government are still trying to do something to stop such a big problem to our city. People are getting angry and also afraid of these types of people. We are afraid that some kinds of big conflict will happen between the local people and these gangsters sooner or later since the police are not capable to protect the local people from these bad guys. That means the local people need to protect themselves. actually the government can set up some policy which can deal with things like that in a decisive way. However, they just don't see how serious of this problem is hurting our city. It also affect the security of the foreigners who wants to visit Hong Kong as well. I am not sure how long we need to deal with a problem like this again (We deal with the Vietnamese illegal immigrants 20 years ago and that problem last for 10 years) It also affect the minority groups who lives in Hong Kong for a long time in a peacefully way as well. since they were from those countries as well but not living like those illegal immigrants all. So it makes all the Hong Kong people think that they are the bad buys as well since it is hard to distinguish them from their outlook anyway. Thus, the harmony of the city is being affected . Ho would you deal with such problem and fell free to share your opinion then.

Surprising that Singapore does not have this problem.
We have many migrants and foreign workers, and the government manages to do quite a good job, though not a perfect job.
One way is to fingerprint everyone.
In this case, they are not tempted to commit crime.

Oh, really, I heard it from the news a few years ago that the people from India had a some terrible and violent act in "Little India" of your country.Although it caused by some people got drunk but that was only the surface issue. They rebel just because they were jealous on the richness of the Singapore people but they are still poor in their own country. They beat up the police at that time and all the Singapore people were shocked because it has never happened to Singapore like that before. However, I don't know what happen right now. perhaps it has some improvement by now.
Anyway, Singapore is a good place for travel and food as well. I've been there 5 times and always want to go back.

@wildlittlefan No, you are right about the little India riot.
The cause of it was a bus driver knocked down a drunk Indian worker, and killed him.
The worker was drunk, and he wanted to get on the bus, the driver refused.
Then the worker wanted to cross the road from the front of the bus, and the driver just happened to drive the bus at the same time, he did not see the worker in front of him.
It has nothing to do about jealousy or whatever.
When other Indians saw that, they surrounded the bus, and threw stones or whatever, and soon many Indians joined in.

I never thought that HongKong are facing this kind of problem. I have friends living and working there and they don't have problems, I mean they said that HK is such a nice place. They are free to do what they want to do unlike SG which is very strict.
