Looking for the abbreviation when chatting, people get used to do this word typing for it. for examples gtg (go to go), gws (get well soon), i just don't even have an idea, where they get this a.k.a - or abbreviation . But there is also people who didn't like it to see this abbreviation when someone try to give them a congratulations on their chat, they feel that the person is too lazy to type the complete word, HBD (happy birthday) for the examples, i got friend who is getting mad to her friend, just by typing HBD on their wall, she said if you are too lazy to type Happy Birthday, than better not said it . So what's your thought about this?

I really feel those abbreviated greetings lack feelings and I myself will not be happy if a friend just greet me HBD on my birthday.

They are fine provided I know what they mean. I often don't, and have to ask.

I don't like it too, if they will greet me with HBD. And not all people know the acronyms so it should always be spelled out. A,K.A. stands for also known as, so it is alright to be used to refer to a thing or person who uses a different name.
